Maze games for kids: look for a path, one step at a time

A maze is a chance to look ahead, try a turn and come back from a dead end. Girafoufou’s maze games let children tap or follow the path with a finger, with no countdown.

Look before moving

Find the beginning and the destination together. Follow a short section with your eyes before touching. A wrong turn need not end the activity: going back is part of understanding how a maze is connected.

Different paths as confidence grows

The puzzle box includes guided mazes, freehand paths and round mazes. The challenge changes with the puzzle difficulty. A more complicated layout is an option to grow into, not something every child of a certain age must solve.

Choose one turn together

  1. Find where the path starts.
  2. Look for the next open turn.
  3. Tap or follow the path, then look again before the next turn.

Some levels need more controlled finger movement. Return to an easier activity if the gesture becomes frustrating.

A floor maze for a toy

You will need: A few rolled towels and a toy animal.

  1. Lay the towels on the floor to make a wide path.
  2. Add one closed branch and a clear destination.
  3. Guide the toy through, moving it back gently when it reaches the closed branch.
